Ingredients:
- 1 cup Kingsville Brewery IPA
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup sweetened plain apple sauce
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup molasses
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp cayenne or chili flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Simmer beer in a saucepan for 5-10 min over medium heat
- Add ketchup, apple sauce, vinegar, molasses, mustard and Worcestershire. Stir well to combine
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne, salt and black pepper. Stir well
- Simmer uncovered on low for 30min-1hr, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens to desired consistency
- Let cool, transfer to a jar and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks
- Baste onto bbq ribs or as a dipping sauce for your favorite chicken fingers
